This cuvée is one of Carole’s signature wines, designed to express the essential character of Chardonnay grown on the chalky hillsides of Vertus in the Côte des Blancs.  The wine has brilliant precision in its structure, coming on with penetrating acidity and mineral-driven salinity.  Finished with only 4g/liter of dosage, it’s a regal wine that demands additional bottle age; lots of power in a velvet glove. ***+ Powerful, mature-tasting Chardonnay.  Brilliant!  - JR
