Domaine Perrot-Minot

2016 Domaine Perrot-Minot Morey-St.-Denis en la Rue de Vergy 1er Cru

Current stock: 3

Burghound: 89-91 Points
Outstanding. An ultra-fresh nose is composed by notes of red berries, earth, cherry and a hint of wet stone. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the well-delineated and attractively textured medium weight flavors that also reflect the stony character of the nose on the saline, balanced and focused finale. Lovely. (1/2017)

Vinous: 90 Points
Full, deep red. A musky essence of Morey-Saint-Denis on the nose, with aromas of raspberry, dried flowers and brown spices complicated by subtle notes of soil and leather. At once supple and juicy, still a bit youthfully medicinal but displaying the creaminess of the vintage. Serious ripe tannins arrive to provide focus and grip to the back-end fruits and spices. This suave, long village wine is balanced from the start. (ST) (1/2018)
