We love Roero Rosso! The Valmaggiore vineyard is among the most renowned crus of the Roero where the soils are very sandy, allowing for softer tannins and texture. This expression of Nebbiolo is wildly fragrant with beautiful complexity, flavor and elegance. It might be in its sweetest spot right now.

After a manual harvest, the winemaking process, as per tradition, is carried out in red in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a maceration phase on the skins. The wine subsequently matures for about a year in French oak barriques and completes its refinement with a few months in the bottle before being introduced onto the market.

We were lucky to get our hands on a few, and now you can count the bottles left on one hand!
