It’s 100% Garnacha (Grenache) from very high altitude vines from the three peaks (the real Tres Picos, the ones on the label) of the Campo de Borja in the northeastern part of the country.  Hand harvested and lovingly handled, these old vines are fashioned into a deep, dark red aromatic mélange of ripe red fruits, plums, florals and a bit of unlit pipe tobacco.  The truly addicting part of Tres Picos is its broad, silky texture- the essence of pure Grenache. Its fruit is seamless, and there’s a richness and energy to it that just allows it to flow over the palate.
