PRIMA Notes:  Sbragia sources the lion’s share of his production from his own vineyards and the level of control he asserts over the whole project has been a major driver in the quality of the wines.  However, for the Russian River Valley Chardonnay featured here, he went to neighboring Balletto Vineyards, long-time growers with prime vineyards in the western hills of Sebastopol.  Sbragia uses this pristine fruit to create a gorgeous example of Russian River Chard, albeit, in the Sbragia vein.
