PRIMA Notes: Bramé, in Piemontese dialect means ‘a desire or craving for something,’ and that’s exactly what will happen to you when you taste this beautifully crafted, savory, food-friendly Barbera from the Roero region of Piemonte.  We know that Deltetto is just famous for its gorgeous Sparkling wines (still available) and, of course, the Roero Arneis (ditto) that first put it on the map, but enologist Antonio Deltetto’s touch with reds is equally deft, and I’ve never come away from a tasting of Deltetto wines without a craving for a bottle of their outstanding Barbera Superiore and a bowl of 30-egg tajarin and rabbit (as recommended by Carlo and made by his mom)!
