Prugnolo Gentile (a Sangiovese clone), with supporting bits of Canaiolo and Mammolo, gives dark cherry, dusty earth, dried herbs, tobacco, and old-cellar savor, all carried by that unmistakable Tuscan combination of gentle grip and fine acidity.
