Even though its production has crept up and there’s probably are a few out there that shouldn’t really bother, Oregon Pinot Gris is still one of the best values out there in American white wine and Ponzi has

been making it for decades- long before Oregon PG even became a ‘thing.’ We love the style of winemaking here and they are not the kind of address that would substitute residual sugar for purely rendered, beautifully articulated fruit! The 2022 is nicely rich on the palate and quite fragrant, it’s dry but ‘round’ too, with a really pretty citrus-infused floral finish. Great as an aperitivo, better with a roast chicken, this is one of our favorite spring and summertime wines. Hey, you know, this is exactly the kind of wine you want to have in your fridge. The first bottle always seems to disappear quickly. Be prepared and stock up.
