The 2023 edition of the Bedrock Old Vine Zin finds this seminal wine in its best rendition to date! The blend is based largely on fruit from more than eight heritage vineyard sites averaging over 80 years old. These combine to create what is quite likely the world’s best value in old-school red wine. The finished blend is 75% Zinfandel, 11% Carignan, 5% Petite Sirah, 4% Grenache, 3% Cinsault and bits and pieces of Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet and other field-blended varieties. What a great vintage for this wine! Dark, packed with briary fruit and long on the palate, this is the perfect blend of new- and old-school style Zin.
