Vinous, 91 points: The 2023 Rosso di Montalcino Biologico opens with nuances of chalk dust, crushed violets and blackberries. It’s lifted and cool-toned with fresh acidity, crisp wild berry fruits and inner lavender tones toward the close. This tapers off classically dry and pleasantly firm, yet maintains lift and energy as hints of spiced citrus fade. This is a remarkably pretty and pure Rosso.
