As you know, there haven’t been many great deals in Sancerre since the great Sancerre famine of the past two vintages, but this new arrival 2022 got our attention not only for its classicism but for its price!  This very small micro-negoce is located near Chavignol, ground zero for great Sauvignon in the Loire Valley and the three climats that make up this cuvee are all farmed bio-dynamically. No oak- just lovely, pure, penetrating Sauvignon fruit and mineral snap. Richly textural but with great acidity and balance.  Very nice surprise for $30!
