The nose is bursting with perfumed apricot, quince and lemon peel and accents of oyster shell and matchstick. The medium-bodied palate has a silky texture and saline-laced flavors. It’s balanced by succulent acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. It opens dramatically with air and will benefit from a few years in the cellar.
