Wine Advocate, 96 points: The 2024 Pinot Noir Ryan comes from the Jentoft (57%) and Widdoes (43%) vineyards and matured in around one-third new French oak. It has compelling scents of black cherry, blueberry, blood orange, nori and flint. The full-bodied palate unfurls slowly to reveal dark, earth- and spice-laced flavors. It’s structured by polished tannins and bright acidity and has a very long, layered finish. It opens dramatically with air and will benefit from a few years in the cellar.

Wine Palate, 96 points: Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2024 Pinot Noir Ryan waltzes out with gregarious notes of fresh blackberries and boysenberries, giving way to underlying notes of mossy tree bark, garrigue, and lilacs. The medium- to full-bodied palate is beautifully poised, with seamless freshness and silky tannins, finishing long and earthy.
