Perhaps our most gorgeous Provençal rosé to date, Figuière’s Première is a staff favorite from way back when Brandon managed the brand while working for the importer. Once he started at PRIMA, we’d buy it on a ‘one for him, one for the customers’ sort of basis and it’s been that way ever since. The Première is the flagship wine for this rosé specialist with vineyards spread over three separate terroirs in Provence.

Cinsault leads the way here with its fine acidity and strong mineral background, while Mourvèdre provides a dash of white pepper, that hint of lantana and its life-giving tannin. That warm, glowing berry and wild strawberry fruit, however, can only come from Grenache!

Expertly assembled, it’s a light, fresh rosé with a surprising amount of oomph and as pretty a finish as you could ever hope. Perfect for drinking on its own, it also loves food! And make sure you keep a few bottles for Thanksgiving and next summer too, because that’s when it will be at its peak.
