It’s summertime, folks, and Chateau Pradeaux, one of Provence’s most famous addresses for fine, dry Rose is here for you! This artisanal, very serious producer has established a major constituency at PRIMA over the past eight or nine vintages, every bit, as it turns out, as rabid as that of the other famous producer of Bandol Rose, whose wine is now over twice as expensive. Here is a dry pink that vividly delivers Mourvedre’s glorious lantana-jasmine spice and nuance and Grenache’s flowing pink silk in a nice, bright package that goes down ever so easily.

Very tasty—this is absolutely one of our favorite producers of the season.
