We began making lists of our favorite wines back in the early 1990s with a ‘Top Ten’ and in 2000, we began expanding the list, one wine a year, culminating in this year’s ’25 for 25,’ our maximum. Sure, we know that some publications publish ‘Top 100s’ but, in our mind, when there are that many, it diminishes the meaning of each wine and we want you to know that each of these was debated, considered, advocated for and fought over. It’s a good list and we’re proud of it!
