A huge thank you, or should I say Merci!, to a fantastic turnout on Friday evening for our Bordeaux Apéro! Those in attendance truly put the Happy into Happy Hour, and was a wonderful reminder of the supportive community that has been created here in Dublin. It truly means the world to our small business. This Friday we'll be closing at 6pm as Teddy and I will be in Portland to celebrate PRIMA alum Jen O'Donnell's wedding. It's going to be a super fun reunion including dear PRIMA friend Claire Carrick. Teddy and I will be back behind the bar on Friday, October 11th for another Friday Happy Hour with all of you. We hope to see you then for a glass of wine to toast Frank's 30th anniversary with PRIMA.
John with Alessandro Masnaghetti
Many of you have asked for an update on John's current travels through Italy. You can see proof here that he and Anne are having a great time, and had a chance to hang out with Italy's Map Maestro, Alessandro Masnaghetti. What better way to prepare for the annual Piemonte tour with our customers?! We miss having John in the store, but it sure is great to see him having a well deserved break abroad. Stay tuned for his return and all the great new wines he'll have discovered.
In the meantime, please remember to vote for us for Best Specialty Retail in Dublin. As John always says, we wouldn't be here without you, and your support helps raise our visibility here in the Tri Valley. Thanks for taking the time to vote! Cheers!
Brandon

Prima's Minister of Value is Giving the House Away Again!
Since John, i.e. the cat, is away right now, it’s time for the mice, i.e. his wonderful staff, are going to play…seriously play by offering our version of the Friday Follies. Taking a page from John’s playbook, we have selected a group of wines, both red and white (and two bubblies) and reduced the prices to make them irresistible to value-loving customers, like you and I, PRIMA Vini’s aptly named ‘Minister of Value’. While that title might suggest low prices only, value can be found at any price level, as long as the quality and authenticity are there and the wine delivers more than the cost would imply. Please enjoy the selection below and see if you agree.
Cheers, Frank
Note: Limited to stock on hand, but don’t hesitate to ask about supply.
