PRIMA Notes:  The Dallancourt Cuvée Prestige Brut is a Champagne that’s been in the bottle for roughly seven years, after spending three years ‘en tirage’ (aged on the lees) prior to bottling.  With a generous amount of reserve wine in the blend, the wine is showing beautifully, with a nicely developed mid-palate and a mature, toasty richness that belies its modest price.  A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay and finished with a dosage of 8g/l, it’s a wonderfully balanced quaff of bubbles.
