A benchmark traditional tequila from the Camarena family, El Tesoro is made at the historic La Alteña distillery in the highlands of Jalisco using old-school methods—stone tahona extraction, open fermentation, and distillation to proof with no dilution.

Aged two to three years in ex-bourbon barrels, the añejo layers gentle oak over the distillery’s signature agave purity. Expect baked agave, orange peel, toffee, and warm baking spice with a softly savory finish. Very lovely neat or with a single cube, but also absolutely killer swapped in for whiskey for an Old Fashioned.
