Dark red/blue fruit, rose petal, lavender, new leather and blood orange stain the palate. Unctuous and heady but not at all overdone, the 2024 is magnificent. Drinking window: 2027 - 2036.

Jeb Dunnuck, 96 points: Planted in 2016 to Calera and Swan clones at high density on sandy soils near the house, the 2024 Pinot Noir MacIntyre Estate is fully destemmed and pretty in style, offering cool blueberries, fresh raspberries, floral tones, and sweet spice. It’s silky and vibrant, with terrific length. Drink 2026-2040.

Wine Advocate, 95 points: The 2024 Pinot Noir MacIntyre Estate Vineyard comes from high-density vines planted in 2016. Matured for11 months in 30% new French oak plus three months in stainless steel, it has arresting aromas of pomegranate, rhubarb, blueberry, orange bitters, earth and iodine. The medium-bodied palate is powerful, with concentrated, expansive flavors. It’s structured by firm, chalky tannins and bright acidity and has a very long, savory finish.
