Elena Vermouth di Torino Superiore Bianco is a distinguished vermouth crafted in the Langhe region of Piedmont. The Currado Vietti family has skillfully blended Timorasso wine with a curated selection of Piedmontese botanicals and herbs, following a time-honored family recipe. Aged in steel tanks, this vermouth features a straw yellow color and a refined bouquet that includes sweet orange, thyme, mint, gentian, vanilla and a subtle hint of cinnamon, culminating in a well-defined wormwood finish. 

Yes, $55 might seem a tad steep for vermouth, but we promise you'll fall in love at first sip just like we did. It's made with one of PRIMA's favorite white grapes, Timorasso, which lends its own gorgeously effusive aromatics and intense, almost Riesling-like flavor profile to the vermouth. On the palate, it is winey, fruity, and harmoniously balanced, leaving a long-lasting, spicy and pleasantly sweet aftertaste. We like it best served chilled, either as an apéritif or a digestif, simply on the rocks with a single ice cube and swath of orange or Meyer lemon. 

But a dash in your Martini (hopefully made with Elena Gin!) or even as a replacement for Lillet Blanc in a Vesper will surely elevate those classic cocktails to new heights.
