Barolo Chinato is one of Piedmont’s great after-dinner traditions, an infusion of Barolo wine with quinine bark and an aromatic blend of spices and botanicals.

The Margherita Otto version leans classic and elegant: dried rose, orange peel, warm baking spices, and cocoa wrapped around Barolo’s naturally structured core. The quinine adds a gentle bitterness that keeps everything beautifully balanced.

Traditionally served slightly chilled as a digestivo, though it’s also wonderful with dark chocolate—or even splashed into a wintery Manhattan for a hint of decadence.
